Monthly Archives: May 2019
This month we are seeking a deeper understanding of grace — the undeserved favor given to us by God. We are following a study by Kristy at the Organic Christian Living blog. Click HERE to go to her website for this study and dig a little deeper, with a playlist and devotions for each week of the study. You can join our study by reading today’s scripture below and journaling about it using SOAP (click on the “What’s SOAP?” link above to learn more). Below today’s scripture is an example SOAP from our team. Whether it’s your first time reading the Bible or you’ve been doing daily devotions for decades, God will use this One Thing to speak to you. We love hearing from you! Please use the comment section of our website to share your SOAP, thoughts or questions on the reading, or prayer requests. Join us as we build unity and community through God’s Word!

Psalm 145:4, 14-15
All month long we’ve been working on embracing grace in all areas of our lives, but this grace is for everyone. His hands are always open. He is good to all. So now that we have all this grace from God, instead of keeping it for ourselves it’s time to share it (and Him) with others so they can share in His grace and glory too.
Who can we share God with today? How can we remember to do this when the opportunity presents itself? Let’s praise Him publicly for all He’s done and give credit where credit is due. He’s done so much, we need to pass this experience on so others can know and experience Him too.
Wow, You are a gracious God and we know You are here to help us when we’ve fallen and are burdened, to give us hope, to give us food as we need it, and that You are righteous in everything You do. Thank You for satisfying our needs, for Your kindness, for hearing us, and protecting us. We praise You and Your holy name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
